On the 90th birth anniversary of Reliance’s Founder-Chairman, Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, in December 2022, Mrs. Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, announced one of India’s most ambitious scholarship programmes — 50,000 scholarships over 10 years. This initiative is rooted in the belief that the best way to ensure the nation’s progress is by investing in its youth.
Over the years, Reliance Foundation scholarships have already transformed the lives of more than 28,000 youth across India. Since the academic year 2022–23, the foundation has been supporting 5,100 students annually, through both undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships.
About the Reliance Foundation Scholarships
The programme has two flagship categories:
- Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships – for 5,000 meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds, pursuing any stream in their undergraduate studies.
- Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships – for 100 of India’s brightest students, pursuing future-ready courses in Engineering, Technology, Energy, and Life Sciences.
Together, these scholarships aim to nurture young minds, support innovation, and build a strong alumni network that will contribute to India’s growth story.
